yet another happy day trip with my father aren't i the lucky one yay me! well we went up brum to take my dads camera to jessops cuz me and my butter fingers drop it and broken it. but while we was up town i thought that ill take my dad to the art galleries i wanted to visit. ikon they had two exhibition on the first one was VICTOR ALIMPLEY: to trample down an arable land is five short videos that show the the human relationship and the powers on the different individuals. 'Comprising six videos, this exhibition includes the premiere of Alimpiev’s ambitious new work, To Trample Down An Arable Land (2009). It features
four central figures, young women holding aloft long trailing banners, heads slightly bowed, while they lead other performers up a long ramp. Gradually they move, like recurrent waves, pulled a few centimetres at a time in a deliberate forward motion. The artist likens this to a plough cultivating the land, each figure acting as a cog in a larger machine.' i really enjoyed watching his piece 'this is it' where there was a young women lieing on the floor and a man had his fist clench above her. it was like his clench fist had inter control on her body the fist clench more and she change position is was if he was control her. SEMYON FAIBISOVICH razgulyai: all of the picture from the exhibition are from mobile phone photographs repenting scene from everyday life. all the picture are focused on unglamourous people (everyday people) 'The brushstrokes in Faibisovich’s canvases betray their origins in low-resolution images. The mobile phone technology they embody' i really enjoyed visiting these two exhibition and found the work really interesting

FREEDOM
Tring to earn some extra cash and getting myself known... i am designing t-shirt for people. they give me an idea of what they want there customized design to be like and i let my pencil get to work:) All the t-shirt are made in the same sort of way to show my indivially idea. i would say that the way i work it like freedom i dont havent any set boundaries i just go the way my mood is taking me working with differnt material and differnt designs. i am currently working on a design for my mate farham i have conducted a question with him to find out what he is looking for.
Questionnaire: what kind of design are you looking at?
FARHAM: i want somethink with my car number plate on.
me: where about on the t-shirt would you want the design to go?
FARHAM: around the creast area, with my inital on the sleaves and the back of the neck, well just working with different design to see which one looks the best.
me: what type of colours are you looking or you want?
Farham: i want the t-shirt to be black with the numbering and lettering white and grey.
here is a section on the question i asked my mate regarding the t-shirt... i am also not setting a standard price for the t-shirt i am asking poeple to give me how much they feel it worth, because its still it early stages of feeling my feet and knowing if people like my ideas

CADBURYS is placed in bounreville the home to the lead chocolate brand. CANAL STREET is the road where on of the canal run through the centre of Birmingham, there are many rumors that we have my canals then Italy has. JEWELLERY QUARTERS is the home where new designers are based, there also are over 700different businesses there. the jewellery quarters is the centre for making the jewellery for the UK. BRIMLEY PLACE is the great place to visit if you fancy going to see the ikon gallery or going for a fancy meal. SYMPOHONY HALL is the uk's finest concert halls.

For our first project we was set the task of designing a little black dress inspired by the 1960’s for a company called Centre Piece. They wanted to uses the 60’s inspired dresses for a catwalk at the symphony hall where there work would be shown. They chose about 8 of the dresses to be shown where they had also chosen 1st 2nd and 3rd place to best ones. I won first prize for this with my dress inspired by a hooded hairdryer...

Jacob Kimmie
About this time last year me and my fellow student was introduced to Jacob Kimmie a designer that we was going to help and also gain some experience of what work would be like working in the industry. We helped bead, cut, sew, clean and make tea. While helping Jacob we began to pick up individual skills that we realized we enjoyed doing and that we were actual quite good at it too. Our reward for helping Jacob was that we was going to London to help out at London Fashion Week event he was taking part in to show his autumn/ winter 09 collection. Here we helped get the venue ready and dressed the models making sure the garment fitted them right, all the models hairs was done and make-up (basically doing all the running about). But it was a experience that we all loved, hoping that one year it will be our collection showing. I think that we have all learnt something for Jacob and the team and hoping that he has learnt something from us too.
HERE AN IMAGE OF THE WHOLE TEAM AT AN EVENT AT FAZELEYS STUDIOS!
After tell my dad what my next project was about RAF COSFORD he thought it would be a good idea if we went up there one of the days to kill some time... there was a cold war exhibition on and my dad was keen on asking me question about it to see how much i knew, and i knew nothing.. but the good thing about the exhibition i now no all... politely conflict and military tension that was left after the world war 2. The Cold War is the name given to the relationship that developed primarily between the USA and the USSR after World War Two. The Cold War was to dominate international affairs for decades and many major crises occurred - the Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam, Hungary and the Berlin Wall being just some. For many the growth in weapons of mass destruction was the most worrying issue.
